This is a Lotus Sutra (Saddharma Pundarika Sutra) concept album. The idea was to translate my experience of reading the Lotus into a musical form, with an emphasis on evoking my own emotional experience of the text over any more formal approach to representing the text's ideas. As a result, this is thoroughly the Lotus Sutra seen (or heard) through a particular lens, rather than a more straightforward presentation of the content of the text itself.

TL;DR: This album is inspired by the Lotus Sutra, and shouldn't be mistaken for the text itself.
